The Compass Centre at Heathrow was originally designed to be an airline crew report & operational centre. This landmark building designed by architect Nicholas Grimshaw, was home to British Airways for fifteen years. The distinctive building occupies a unique location opposite the runway of the world’s busiest airport & offers its tenants an opportunity to take up a position from which the whole airport can be viewed.
The Compass Centre now provides BAA with a new home that is far more than a roof over its head. It is helping to generate a new culture which is more responsive & collaborative enabling business decisions to be made faster, all vital when managing the technically critical responsibility of running the UKs largest airports.
