The facilities provide BAA staff & their guests with a wide range of opportunities to come together & collaborate or to work in focused concentration. The unique setting of the upholstered modular seating booths offer an alternative to a formal meeting room and quiet booths ensure that there is somewhere to get away from it all. The bridge links between the buildings have been utilised to provide spaces for more communal & social interaction.
The training facility is flexible & adaptable depending on the size of group. The rooms are branded to reinforce the fact that Heathrow serves the UK capital whilst the visitor meeting room suite & new reception is designed & branded to reflect Heathrow’s status as an international hub airport.
The refreshment & recycling points have Connect Live screens updating staff about the latest news & headlines. In the visitors area, flight information shown on LCD screens giving a real time view of arrivals & departures. Whilst throughout the way-finding signage & super-graphics take their lead from the airport standards.
Paul Buckley continued, “ tilney shane has proven that a workplace is more than a desk layout. They have demonstrated their understanding of the interrelationship of people & property & delivered a refurbishment of the workplace that realises the best of both. Their creativity is well matched by their common sense approach to getting the job done…on time & to budget. Our expectations have not only been realised but exceeded.”
