Cadbury recognised that co-locating their Headquarters function with their Sales & Marketing team could create a unified Global HQ fostering joined-up thinking & improved collaborative working, around the concept of ‘brands people love’.
Brands are essential to Cadbury. The new accommodation provides the ideal setting demonstrating the rich heritage of Cadbury brands & the diversity & excitement of new ones. Brand walls are the focal point on each floor, defining breakout areas where teams can relax, refresh & also brainstorm & develop new ideas. The overall workspace provides a neutral & natural backdrop for the vibrancy of the brands.
To assist creativity, quality staff facilities are provided. A full restaurant with terrace, barbeque area & café provides excellent catering & breakout meeting space, whilst doubling up as ‘Town Hall’ space for companywide announcements, plus the essential table football! The gymnasium has great views to encourage joggers & cyclists to go the extra mile.
Bringing two different groups successfully together highlights the need for good communication & consultation. Each had very specific requirements & culture. A solution was developed using standard components that gave individual teams scope to express their own identity within a framework that was cost effective & manageable.
