Luminar is the largest operator of licensed late-night venues in the UK. Its brief was to consolidate from 4 sites into one site in Milton Keynes, to provide an open, interactive environment to its staff, & to project its status as a key player in the leisure industry. All this in 20 weeks from first briefing to relocation.
The space is designed to promote an open environment, (using circulation routes to increase people’s visibility, & centralised copy & meeting spaces), whilst respecting the need for privacy by the subtle use of partitioned graphic walls. The Luminar brand is evident throughout, from branded meeting rooms to large abstract graphic panels. The end result is a fast track, high quality design which successfully reflects Luminar’s sensitive balance of professionalism & fun.
