The College’s relocation to a central site in Holborn was an opportunity to reflect the status of their national HQ & to upgrade both their facilities & image.
Covering 4,500m2 the refurbishment included provision of lecture theatre, new cladding of facades. At the centre of the scheme was an additional floor created to provide a prestigious Council Chamber.
In addition, the site included both private workplace & public members facilities. The resulting environment is adaptable to a range of uses, for example workshops, examinations or dining.
Aesthetically we have struck a sensitive balance between heritage & modernity.
